Terms of service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to businesses that use Telloop (“customer”). Telloop is a product by JTX Lab. The provider is:
Jan Tschümperlin
Postal address to follow
Switzerland
admin@telloop.ch
The terms do not apply to people who take part in a prize draw in a shop. For them, the entry conditions and the privacy notice of that shop apply. If the customer and the provider have agreed something individually, for example in a quote or by email, that agreement takes precedence over these terms.
2. Services
Depending on what has been agreed, Telloop comprises:
- a display in the shop with NFC and QR code, which customers tap with their own phone;
- entry pages for a prize draw; the entry is complete and confirmed before Google is mentioned at all;
- an optional, separate newsletter sign-up that is not pre-ticked;
- a voluntary invitation to review the shop on Google, with a single button that customers press themselves;
- a control panel that shows the reviews of the customer’s stores, drafts replies with a language model and publishes a reply only once a person at the customer has approved it.
The exact scope, branding, draw schedule and connected tools are agreed individually. Telloop does not promise any number of reviews, any rating or any other effect.
3. What Telloop does not do
Telloop is built so that it follows Google’s rules. It does not ask customers whether they are satisfied, it does not send only satisfied customers to Google, it does not link the prize draw to a review, it does not redirect automatically and it does not publish replies without approval. The customer cannot request any of this, and the provider does not set it up.
4. Contract, term and termination
The contract is formed when the provider confirms an order in writing, by email being sufficient. Term and notice period follow the individual agreement. Where nothing has been agreed, either party may terminate with 30 days’ notice to the end of a month. The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected, in particular if the customer breaches the duties in section 6.
5. Prices and payment
Prices follow the individual agreement. The provider invoices by email. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within 30 days.
6. Duties of the customer
- The customer may grant Telloop access to its Google Business Profiles only if it is entitled to do so as owner or manager of these profiles.
- The customer follows Google’s rules for reviews. In particular it offers no reward for a review, does not invite only selected customers, does not pressure anyone in the shop and does not give staff a target number of reviews.
- The customer runs the prize draw. It provides the entry conditions and its privacy notice, carries out the draw and hands over the prizes.
- The customer checks every reply before approving it. With the approval, the customer is responsible for its content.
- Each person signs in with their own account. The customer keeps access details confidential and removes people who should no longer have access.
7. Access to Google
The customer grants Telloop access to its Business Profiles, either by inviting Telloop as a manager or by signing in with Google. Telloop uses this access only for the purposes described in the privacy notice: showing reviews, drafting replies, publishing approved replies and showing the number and average of reviews.
The customer can revoke the access at any time, in its Google account or by removing Telloop as a manager. If Telloop changes anything in the customer’s Google account, for example adds a user, the provider informs the customer by email within 48 hours. When the contract ends, the provider removes Telloop’s access within seven business days.
8. Reply drafts
Reply drafts are suggestions by a language model. They can contain errors or be unsuitable. Nothing is published without approval by a person at the customer.
9. Availability
The provider strives for reliable operation but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Telloop depends on services of third parties, in particular Google, Supabase, Vercel and OpenRouter. If Google changes, restricts or blocks its interfaces or a profile, the provider is not responsible for the consequences. Maintenance may cause short interruptions.
10. Data protection and processing on behalf
When Telloop processes personal data of the customer’s customers, such as prize draw entries, newsletter sign-ups and reviews, the customer is the controller and the provider processes the data on its behalf within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. The provider processes this data only to provide Telloop, protects it with appropriate technical and organisational measures, uses only the processors named in the privacy notice, supports the customer with requests from data subjects and deletes the data when the contract ends, unless the privacy notice provides otherwise or the law requires it to be kept. On request, the parties sign a separate data processing agreement.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the provider’s liability is limited to the fees paid by the customer in the twelve months before the damaging event. Liability for slight negligence, indirect damage and lost profit is excluded. The provider is not liable for decisions of Google, such as the blocking of a profile or of access to its interfaces, nor for the content of replies approved by the customer. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.
12. Rights
Telloop and its software remain with the provider. For the duration of the contract, the customer may use Telloop for its own business. The customer’s data remains the customer’s. The provider uses the customer’s name and logo only on the customer’s own pages and names the customer as a reference only with its written consent.
13. Changes to these terms
The provider may change these terms. It announces changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If the customer does not agree, it may terminate the contract with effect from the date of the change.
14. Final provisions
Swiss law applies, excluding the conflict of laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is the provider’s place of residence. Should a provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force. In case of doubt, the German version of these terms prevails.
